When the Lord of Heaven and Earth says something, there is no room for debate; period! God Almighty never asked one human being what their opinion was concerning the meaning of His Word. And your soul is in danger of hell fire if you think that the road to heaven is somehow easy. Also, to not understand the spiritual revelation of the word of God will damn your soul to Hell also. 2Corinthians 3:6 “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.” It takes a hard word, strait and narrow, to deliver our souls from the masterfully deceptive guile of Satan.
With that being said, is there anything more important than the word of God, rightly divided, to our souls? The answer is no! Because His Word teaches us that His Word is life to them that find it. Emphasis on find meaning one has to diligently seek God for the spiritual revelation of it. Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” The entire New Testament is centered around God raising up His preachers, filling them with the Holy Ghost and the spiritual revelation of His Word, and sending them into the highways and byways to preach and teach it. And the rest of the Christians to do all they could do to support them in their work. Financially, in prayer, in obedience to the Word they preached and the instructions contained in that Word. Hence the need for helps and governments.
Fast forward over 2,000 years later and nothing has changed. Heartbeat Christian News is that same word of God, rightly divided. 2Timothy 2:15 “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing THE word of truth.” Matthew 6:33 “But seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” The kingdom of God referenced in this verse is the work of the Lord which I just explained to you in the preceding chapter. Something I pray all the time for others and myself is for God to give unto us His righteousness.
The hard truth is that, if you truly love the Lord, you will do all you can to find your place in a true work of the Lord. You will have a burning desire to be a fruit bearing tree in His vineyard; a winner of souls. Proverbs 11:30 “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.” Or else, you are just a hot air balloon, an arm chair warrior, a couch coach, a blow hard who is simply good at telling others how it ought to be but too lazy to lift a finger to make a difference. Jude 1:22 “And of some have compassion, making a difference:”
