The Lord dropped the idea of taking this newspaper nationwide about 8 years ago. He also dropped the number in my heart of 200,000 copies per month in the strangest of all places. It was so profound, the number, and the location that it was almost like a vision. I was sitting at the home of a good friend’s parents working on their laptop. Because I also have a side business of computer repair which I have done for many years here in SE Tennessee. But the side businesses are just that and only intended to pad my income until Heartbeat Christian News goes nationwide. Which it will. My former pastor and very dear friend, Brother Lee Sharp, was a true prophet of God. He exhorted me many times to never give up on my vision to take this newspaper nationwide. He also prophesied over me that I would have so much money that I would feel like Trump’s son. Which excited me greatly for one reason. Because it was another confirmation that God was going to bless Heartbeat Christian News to go nationwide. That is the only reason I would need or want that kind of money!
You can help us in our quest for this vision by donating. I recently updated the donation information on our “Donate” page specifically for this national expansion campaign. I didn’t even specify an amount which PayPal allows you to do when setting up these donation buttons. Our goal is $1,000,000. Why such a large amount? Because in order to expand nationwide through direct mail distribution, you have to reach a certain number of monthly subscribers before you can begin to sell advertising. For us, that goal is 25,000. The cost to print and mailout that many issues, per month, is roughly $15,000. In order to build that number, we have to have a marketing budget to promote it. TV is the best method of reaching a targeted audience and that is never cheap.
