I stand in awe of the grace, which means undeserved favor, of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you only knew what God had brought me through and how He protected me through many years of ignorant disobedience and stupidity, you would be amazed. And all this is before He made me the publisher of Heartbeat Christian News. Even after I ran from God for approximately 18 years and came back into His saving grace in January of 2006. Add to that, all the mistakes I have made since then including my time publishing this excellent Christian newspaper. If you knew how undisciplined I can be and easily distracted and what poor money management skills I had for the first 7+ years of running this newspaper. I promise, like me, you’d wonder why the Lord chose me to do it. I am a living, breathing testimony that God qualifies the called and not the other way around. My best estimate of why God chose me is because the potential and promise of this newspaper becoming a national Christian newspaper that there would never be any question that He did it and nothing else.
Let me just say that you will NEVER be perfect enough and the circumstances in your life will never be right enough for you to get involved in a true work of the Lord. And you will never be given a work of the Lord for you to be in charge of until you help someone who already is. With all that being said, this is one of many testimonies I have received over the years but by far the best and, wow, do I praise the Lord for it! And the timing most definitely straight from God seeing as how we are in the process of onboarding our first franchisee and how heavy the attacks from the devil that has brought. But the glory be to God because He has and will bring me through it and I shall overcome. The Lord is MY Shepherd! In closing, if you love Heartbeat Christian News, help us.
