The Heart Behind Front Porch Catering
The concept of Front Porch Catering was born out of my love to cook, which began at an early age, out of necessity, preparing full meals with homegrown ingredients for hardworking farm hands. What started as a responsibility quickly became a lifelong passion.
Even while I owned and operated my own hair salon and raised our family, I enjoyed feeding my family wholesome meals, gathering around our table with family and friends. All the while, using fresh ingredients was something I never let go of.
Over the years it grew into cooking for church events, eventually catering weddings and special events. In 2018, I decided to follow that calling fully… trading my scissors for a commercial kitchen.
Front Porch Catering was born from that journey. While we’ve grown into a full-service catering company, fully licensed and insured, my goal has always stayed the same—to serve good quality food and service that brings people together, just like it always has around my table.
