I stand in awe at what God has done with Heartbeat Christian News every day. And that this newspaper is 12 years strong! If you only knew how undisciplined I can be and easily distracted, you too would be in awe LOL. If you only knew how bad I was with money for so many years after this paper started as well as having no start up budget, you would be in awe. Not that I purposefully was that way but I just didn’t understand the concept of budgeting even though I knew it to be necessary. Not having any experience at all on the production side of the newspaper business, I tell you again that Heartbeat Christian News is a miracle and truly a work of God. I am just the vessel He chose to do it. I still, to this day, do not understand why He chose me. But I am ever so thankful.
So many mighty blessings have happened this year for HBC News. The first being that God Almighty made a way where there seemeth to be no way for us to become a franchise. So we could start our nationwide expansion. By leading us to an awesome, Christian owned company called Franchise Marketing Systems. Secondly, by blessing us with a marvelous bit of publicity in Franchising Magazine USA which is an industry leader in franchising publications. One in which the cheapest ad is like $700! Finally, by granting me nothing short of a notable miracle in my recovery from a blood clot, stroke and seizure which the devil tried to kill me with. Our God is an awesome God!
Thank you Lord for your wonderful works to the children of men and for your goodness! And for how richly you have blessed and kept this newspaper. And for what I believe to be just the beginning of tremendous growth in 2024.
